Hyundai kauft Boston Dynamics von Softbank für knapp 1 Milliarde

In 2014 hatte Google die Roboterfirma Boston Dynamics erworben, 2017 kaufte dann die japanische Firma Softbank die beeindruckenden Entwicklungen und nun wird der Roboterhersteller wohl an die koreanische Firma Hyundai weitergereicht.

Während Softbank die Firma wohl für ca. 100 Millionen US$ in 2017 akquirierte und dann nochmals knapp 40 Millionen in Weiterentwicklungen steckte, hat die Hyundai Motors Group nun wohl 921 Millionen US$ für 80% der Anteile berappen müssen, die restlichen 20% verbleiben bei Softbank.

According to a report from The Korea Economic Daily, Hyundai Motor will acquire Boston Dynamics for $921 million (1 trillion won).
